Working with Segments To optimize your messages use segmentation to target your emails so only those interested in a specific topic will receive your information. Keep one master list and generate dynamic content segments of relevant messages to targeted audiences. As some information in your email campaigns may only be relevant to parts of your subscriber base, segmenting your mailings is a good marketing strategy to use. Using Lyris ListManager there are two ways to do this. 1. Easily create segments by segregating your list members by user demographics or other distinct characteristics. 2. Create demographic triggers, which activates segment creation based on an action, event or behavior (clicking on a link). Once your segments are configured and automated, your email campaigns are executed without effort. Lyris ListManager gives you two ways to set the criteria for your email subscribers. 1. Collect the segment data at the time of subscribing. 2. Upload a new defined CSV file that has pre-defined columns for segments.
